We are a merchant, not a mill, so the honest version is this: the biggest thing we control is how much steel gets bought and never used. Most of what follows is about cutting that number.
Steel is already the answer
Steel is the most recycled material on earth, and every tonne that leaves our yard carries scrap in it. What we control is waste at our end: nesting, cut-to-length and offcut recovery.
Nesting cuts the drop
Plasma jobs are nested across the plate rather than cut in the order they were drawn. On a typical bracket run that recovers a fifth of the plate — steel you would otherwise have paid for and thrown away.
Rolled to length, not to lap
A roof sheet rolled to the rafter length has no end lap, no overlap waste and no offcut. On a 40 m warehouse that is close to a tonne of coil that never gets bought.
Scrap goes back
Yard drop, punchings and shop offcut are segregated, baled and sold back into the local foundry trade rather than buried on site.

Safety in the yard
Overhead handling, banksman discipline, PPE on every visitor and a no-walk zone under a suspended load. Customers collecting stay in the marked bay while the crane is live.
Apprenticeships
We take on apprentice machine operators and fabricators each intake from Bulawayo Polytechnic and the local technical colleges, and we keep most of them.
Local supply first
Where a Zimbabwean mill or roll-former can supply to spec and on time, we buy locally. Imports fill the gaps, not the shelf.
Community
We supply steel at cost to school, clinic and church building projects in Bulawayo and the surrounding districts. Ask the desk for the project form.
Mill certificates are held against the heat number on every structural and reinforcing delivery, and issued on request at the time of order. Ask for it on the purchase order rather than after the pour.
