Processing
Ten processes under one roof at Belmont. Steel that arrives cut, folded, punched, rolled and primed is steel your team stops paying to handle twice — and it is the difference between a roof going on in two days and a roof going on in five.
Guillotining & Shearing
Straight shearing of sheet and plate to your cut list. Square-cut edge, no heat affected zone, and no charge for the cutting on a full-sheet order.
Plasma Profile Cutting
CNC plasma cutting from your DXF or DWG. Base plates, gussets, flanges, brackets, signage and wear parts — nested to keep your offcut charge down.
Press Braking & Folding
Folding of sheet and plate into flashings, trays, channels, boxes and custom sections. Radius and air-bend tooling for architectural work.
Cut to Length
Coil decoiled, levelled and cut to your sheet length; bar and section cropped to size. Cuts material handling and scrap on every job.
Coil Slitting
Master coil slit to the strip widths you roll-form or press, rewound and banded. Minimum order applies.
Roll Forming
Roofing and purlins rolled to your exact rafter length on our own line, so a 7.3 m roof gets a 7.3 m sheet with no end lap and no waste.
Bar Cutting & Bending
Reinforcing cut and bent to your bar bending schedule, bundled, tagged by mark number and delivered in pour sequence.
Drilling & Punching
Holes in plate, flat bar, angle and purlins to your setting-out, so the steel bolts up on site instead of being drilled on a scaffold.
Section Rolling
Curving of tube, angle, channel and flat bar to a radius — arches, tanks, hoppers, silo rings and architectural curves.
Blasting & Priming
Abrasive blasting to remove mill scale and rust, followed by a shop primer so the steel arrives on site ready to weld and top coat.
From your drawing
to our weighbridge.
-
Step 1
Send the detail
A DXF, a drawing, a bending schedule or a photograph of a cut list on the back of a delivery note. Whatever you have is enough to start.
-
Step 2
We confirm and quote
The desk checks stock, nests the cutting to keep your offcut charge down, and comes back the same working day with a price and a lead time.
-
Step 3
Processed at Belmont
Cut, folded, punched, rolled or primed in our own shop. Everything is measured against the drawing before it is banded.
-
Step 4
Weighed and loaded
Over our own weighbridge, tagged by mark number where there is a schedule, and onto our fleet or your truck.
Send us the file.
